About Me

I spent my entire life feeling less than my peers. All I ever heard was
you would be so smart if you just tried harder
or “why can’t you be more like [insert other person of similar age or younger]” and the one that always sticks with me “why can’t you just communicate like a normal person”
So I spent my life in a constant state of anxiety, wondering why I couldn’t do what others could, why I wasn’t able to communicate or concentrate like other people, wondering “whats wrong with me?”
I was then given the answer to all of my questions on April 7th 2022 when I was diagnosed with ADHD Combined Type.
Although I was given the answers, I wasn’t given the tools I needed in order to thrive and live my best life.
I had to go and just figure it out. It has been hard. It has been lonely.
The thought of others going through this journey alone, and feeling lost just breaks my heart. So I decided to use my lived experience to help other people see that they aren’t broken.
